(A tinsy PS to the story above remembering Mick Alchin .......)

After retiring as a player, 'Mad' Mick Alchin, who died this week, took up coaching with Parramatta Eels reserve grade.
One day, the board called him in, furious, and set to sack him.
Why?
He dropped a club stalwart and put a skinny 18yo no one had heard of into his team.
The kid?
B Kenny.

One day,

It just proves that a coach is always a better selector than a board of a club, sooner or later the morons at our club will realise the same although with Denny there it could take many many years.

One day,
Best player ive ever seen...could do it all

He was a lock when he played for the Wests Panthers in the Brisbane Rugby League ....glad you didn't miss the De Bresac ...you did miss the Esquire lol
hahaha - I think the king-master Roy Masters deleted both the "de Bresac and the Esquire" and moved the lad onto the wing where he ripped and teared ..... 🤣
