The Pirates started their 2023 season with wins in all grades against Western Sydney Two Blues (formerly Parramatta).
1sts won 17-15 in a dogged affair.

Tomorrow the West takes on the East, with a split venue! Colts will be playing at Concord Oval once again, while Grade heads over to Woollahra Oval to try and get another clean sweep.
Get on down to either venue, let us hear your voices loud and proud, and jump on board the ship!

Round 2 of the Shute Shield: West Harbour beaten 27-20 by Eastern Suburbs.
Wests played a really good game, unlucky to be held up over the line after the bell which would have got them a draw (if converted).
Pretty good effort as underdogs.
Oh well, as they say, always next week.

any goss on the Central Coast comp,Hornsby still there ,Kariong grades doing well?
Champion @Merlot, I'm not too close with that comp, more Sydney grade and the subbies (especially St Pats Strathfield) but check out https://www.centralcoastrugby.com.au/ plus they have a face book page too.

I remember years ago, when Wests were back in 2nd Division they played against Hornsby, Macquarie Uni etc etc teams. These games were always played hard and were fun too.
