Rugby World Cup Thread

The All Blacks were lucky to get away with the win, I thought France were going to get them towards the end. It must be a huge relief for the All Blacks to have finally won it again after all those years. Congrats to them.

haha now France is in trouble for advancing on the haka?

Why are the All blacks allowed to intimidate their opposition but you are not permitted to give it back to them?

Thats BS isnt it….what a garbage rule

I think its brilliant when other teams challenge the haka. The Kiwis are allowed to lay their challenge, whats wrong with the opposition saying challenge accepted?

I love the Welsh response in 2008

Ireland in 1989 probably have gone the furthest, crossing half way

The kiwis are allowed to show their passion, why not let the others. If taking on the haka doesnt fire you up then im not sure what will.

I always thought the team performing the Haka didnt stop staring down the opposition until the opposition turn there backs. Once they turn, it is then supposed to signify "now I will cut your throat" or something along those lines?

I love watching the Haka… I prefer the old one though and have a problem that if its a traditional war cry, why were they allowed to change it? If we cant play Waltzing Matilda, why can they do a ceremonial dance of choice?

Yeah you can approach to the half way line but you can't cross it Another fantabulous rule of Union

Maybe the Kiwis should stand one metre inside the half way line so the intimidation can work both ways

Best response I have seen in reply to a Haka is the Sam Scott Young approach

Wink at them and blow them a kiss
