Now that I've had a chance to read the stories and such my thoughts are good on him. He is going to have to work for a contract, he's not walking straight into a side which shows he is willing to work for it… It may be part of the allure for him. There's no promises and he is doing what his heart wants. I admire people who take the risk.
He's a great player and if he can get the hang of the game there's no telling where he'll end up. If it doesn't work out, he will always be welcome back, be it with Parramatta or someone else.

THE NRL have expressed their disappointment in Jarryd Hayne’s decision to leave the game to pursue his dream of playing in the NFL.

NRL CEO Dave Smith says he, like every rugby league fan is upset the game will no longer feature one of its best players but takes solace in the fact that money had no bearing on Hayne’s decision.
