RUMOUR: Lui to Broncos

Havent heard the rumour but after what the tigers have done for him if he wants to go when his contract is up let him go.
 
I highly doubt it considering he is signed till the end of 2013… Brisbane have always stated they would like BMM for 2012 though???
 
Once again, can we have a "Lui linked to Broncos" or (better) "Rumour - Lui possibly going to Broncos" as the thread title? An unsourced rumour started by a single person on another website is hardly a great reason for a thread to start with but I don't care so much if it is signposted that way in the title.

Also mods - can this be moved to contract discussion or NRL rather than general discussion?

I don't think the Tigers would be too keen on lettng Lui go. Still, a rumour is a rumour so I guess we'll have to see if anything substantial comes of it.
 
This entire forum is based on rumours , speculation and innuendo - mixed with personal opinions.
IMO Lui's not worth it - let him go home to QLD
 
Wallace seems to be doing fine for them now, he's hardly in his twilight years either. Can't imagine this being anymore than a rumour.

Think you'll find there was a previous rumour linking him to Cowboys - that would make more sense.
Closer to home and Thurston has already been quoted as wanting Lockyer's No 6 QLD jersey next year.
If he did stay at half they would play Lui at 5/8

Yeah let him go if he wants to go home.Not a player we cant replace easy enough.

They have Wallace as an established player ,possibly Boyd and Corey Norman as well . Cowboys have Thurston and Ray Thompson Thompson I feel looks like he might have the goods Defensively for someone so young he is outstanding . Titans Prince will be there for a while yet and Zillman seems to be making a pretty good fist of five eight . If he goes to any clubs up here he will be going as a five eight as all clubs have established half backs .
 
No7's are as rare as rocking horse , so Iam sure Lui will attract plenty of attention in the market place. As we know contracts mean little and plenty of horse trading is going on
 
Well he was originally a 5/8, so that won't be a biggie.

I really hope he doesn't go. I doubt he will; not after everything the club has stuck with him by.

It may be as simple as that he wants to be closer to his family now that he is a father . I think most of us parents can understand that
