Rumour - Mahe to Debut

You'd have to think it's Nofoaluma, but given he's played on the left it would be sensible to suggest that MWZ won't pull up in time for it, which is a shame as MWZ has been a lot safer for mine, despite not offering as much in attack.

Let’s face it.
There are very few of so called guaranteed “safe consisten” players in our game who perform week in and week out. You can count them on one hand. Maybe Smith is an obvious one but you really have to sit down and find the other four.
It all comes down to a player which on the day ether performs or has a horror game.
So Mahe may prove a match winner if he plays this week and hopefully proves some of us wrong. But he has to be given his chance before he loses too much confidence playing ISP. Same goes for McQueen, JJ and Grant.

If Mahe does play please please please can he steamroll Slimey Fart a few times for tries, make my Sunday.

If Mahe plays we all better just accept that he will lose the ball 2 or 3 times fighting in tackles, give up a penalty and probably drop a couple of high balls as well.
That's not suggesting he isn't the better option - just that he ain't going to change.

Marsters and Fonua on one edge…. devestating - deadset those two could just offload to each other all day up the park.

So penalties and dropped balls expected?
Along with hard runs and solid defense.

Sure he will get us meters but his error rate is terrible.

Maybe he has too much time in ISP to think and makes errors but when he hits first grade he won’t have time to think and errors will reduce - lets hope so

Rubbish.

Penalties and Dropped balls are nothing new - no loss there.

Hard runs and solid defense however….. 😛ray:

I am excited to see Mahe get a crack in firsts but a little nervous about him up against French. Yes of course its a mismatch when Mahe has the ball in his hand, but in defence it is also a mismatch in terms of mobility and agility. French is quick.

French is quick but he hasn't been close to 2017 form and is the whipping boy over at the Eels at the moment.

Fonua has been bashing on the bus door this year and it is time to unleash the beast …. and get a new door.
