Hope Malakai Watene-Zelezniak passes the test.

Think we are in trouble if **Fonua is marking French.**

I have a feeling French would rather be marking MWZ than Fonau.

He has to catch French first - then it depends which French and which Fonua turn up.

MWZ is a pussy , he showed that last week against SKD .

Hope I’m wrong but a confident Parra running fast plays down our edges and flanks - both sides, is concerning me

Yep, that is concerning. We need to be much more solid than last week in those areas or I think we're in big trouble. I thought that was something they'd ironed out, but last week showed they're still capable of reverting back into old ways.

And that’s exactly why I’m concerned. Lawrence back will make a difference but from a defensive position I’d be more confident if Thompson and MWZ were on the wings.

Let’s hope our scramble and energy are on song

word is Parra have a few plays down our right edge with Gutho sweeping behind the winger…
Question is will it be 3 or 4 tries on that edge...

The fact that this is still a thing after 4 years is ridiculous!

Did a little Birdie tell you this or just common sense?
To be honest Parras back 5 are far superior than ours as a collective.
We seem to defend teams the best on our edges when we are on our goal line. Maybe that is the trick is do what ever it takes to not allow Parra to attack from 30 to 20 meters out even to the point of giving them the space around 20 to 30 out until we they have to attack from 10 out.
Fonua and Nofo are strong one on one defenders it’s when there is space on the fringes that is when we struggle.

Came first hand from thier captains run…

Yeah, That could work... Or we could cut our losses and get a winger that knows what the sideline looks like and how to defend on his edge.

Slack comment Hobbo, and I don't believe he is for one.

Can we also get a 5/8 and a centre that know how to slide when required…or just smash Mitchell a few times ...

Even the best defensive winger couldn't stop the 3 on 1s that Nofa has been expected to by some here.

its confirmed

Cleary has confirmed two late changes to the team originally named during the week, with Mahe Fonua becoming Wests Tigers Player #215 when he makes his club debut on the left wing.

Well hold on tight folks, think we might be in for a wild ride here!

(and congrat's Fonua - you have worked hard for this call up)
