Robbie is a super player and for me, undoubtedly the best Wests Tiger. But he'd have to be the worst Captain in the NRL. We start on the backfoot with Refs as it seems they don't like him. And the last fortnight has been embarrassing. Manly are going through player retention and recruitment turmoil and I can't even remember Lyon being quoted. Business as usual for them, while the circus continues at our Club.

Agreed…that's why I think he should be relived of the captaincy.

In the promo for the interview, Farah says "maybe I am not the right person to lead this club", so he may choose to step down as captain.

Personally while I don't think he is the best captain, I can't see a single other player suitable for the job.

If Lawrence was still the same player from a couple yrs ago, he'd have fit perfectly. Personally i'd appoint Blair if Farah wanted to stand down.

If not farah then i think blair would be the only cantidate to take over and would be deserved.

the way i see it alexxai is that the interview can go one of two ways..

it could be used by robbie to clear up the whole situation and show undoubted support of the coach on behalf of the whole playing group. If this is the case then although dramatical it could put this whole nightmare to bed at least until the season is over and help us move forward as a club

Conversely, he could let loose and throw everyone under the bus and really embarrass the club. If, this is the case then i would lose all respect for robbie as a player, captain and person and certainty wouldn't care if he walked or was pushed out.

Highly doubt Robbie will ever go to Canberra. If he were to leave it would have to be to another Sydney based team.

Even taking the $20K into consideration Channel 9 are going to profit a lot with very high ratings tonight. I don't think the Wests Tigers reputation will profit at all.

According to Paul Kent it was a mandatory part of the deal for ch9 to put 20k into Simon Dwyers benefit fund so i really cant see what the issue is.
