Running at the markers.

I am sick of heingno in particular always running at the markers! It is a really clever play on occasions to compress the defence but I seriously think it is over used! Am I missing something?

I agree, the refs rarely give penalties for it anymore too.

Robbie has to stop trying to get penalties for offside too, the referees never give it to him, I wish he would just play the game the way he used too, sorry to say

I think this was a very effective ploy in 2005 and worked out beautifully, however, I think the game has changed. If this is a sheens directive I feel sorry for heingno cause it can't be fun getting smashed an only making 2 metres. If it hasn't come from sheens I think heingno needs to straighten it up

Heighno's insistance on running straight back into the markers really does boggle the mind. Once upon a time this was a smart ploy that tired the markers out - but it just doesn't work anymore!

please stop, your breaking down the time space continuum with this logic

robbie plays like he did in 05 when you could catch markers off, hasn't move on or developed as much as he should have.

heighno well he's done it for a thousand years, i use to believe like you.. i think the opposition just laugh now.
