I think it would be better that next years captain has played for the club prior to being named captain. In my view it will need to be either ET or Lawrence if he plays Firsts. Maybe even Kevvie as he has done well with Fiji.

@ said:Interesting scenario putting that out there… I can only assume that Cleary isnt set on his best starting team as yet and will wait until a week or two before the season to finalise his decision.
For me, the obvious choice is Chris Lawrence as being the Club Captain. But maybe he isnt guaranteed a starting spot?
