So stoked that we've got Russell Packer at WT! Our pack has got some much needed mongrel

have I missed a signing, where has it been stated that we have signed packer, can some one help.

Bump; can't be bothered going through 8 pages. Haven't seen anything from WT Membership or Official.

Google shows the below:
https://www.triplem.com.au/sport/nrl/news/tigers-set-to-announce-another-signing-russell-packer?station=sydney

"I'm hearing that Russell Packer has made a decision on his future and he's heading to the Wests Tigers next year."

I'm hearing it but not seeing it….?

I like this signing as it gives us some aggression… Wonder if Ivan will use him as a Starting Prop or off the Bench.

I think he would be best served coming off the bench. He and Sue off the bench would really offer some impact. That begs the question who would start alongside Matulino…if we held Tim Grant he could be ok, he has a decent motor. Packer will probably end up starting though.

I dont know, i reckon he's a starter. He gets us on the front foot straight away with aggression and quick play the balls. Sue then comes on for him to keep it rolling, like for like sort of. Thats my take on it anyway.

Same Sirro. I do think we are 1 prop short on top of this still. We need to also be mindful Sue hasn't hopped on the Bus yet either.

That's probably the way it will play out Sirro. I think he would work well off the bench, but only if we had another solid prop who can play decent minutes.

Sue is signed for next year at least Mighty Tiger..

With Packer and Matulino eating between 4-6 Interchanges I hope our back row can go 80 most weeks…

I would be having a crack at Tolman from the Dogs or Brenton Lawrenceon a 2 year deal if It was me...

Will be watching Packer closely tonight against the Sharks pack and how Mary uses him..

Am curious what the signings of Packer Matulino and Twal mean for Felipe and Tatola. Paseka has already been thrown off the bus and told to walk

Paseka wasn't told to walk. He felt he should have been playing FG and requested a release when told he had a long way to go. So far that decision has been justified.

I reckon Lawrence would serve well off the bench as an interchange second rower. Guerra generally plays about 45-50 minutes. I think Rowdy struggles playing 80 himself.

Sorry I meant about form vs class.

We'll he's one of the classiest around and I don't think his form is as bad as some profess.

Packer runs hard and gets a quick play the ball, something our departing captain does not do.

Anything official announced on the signing of russel packer yet?

Gee if you were in the cooling off period you would seriously thinking twice after seeing that performance last night.
That is the reason we will need to pay overs for anything decent to come our way.
Packer had a blinder for Saints yesterday.

No problems here either
L just think he's an ordinary prop. A few years ago he was ok, but ordinary now.
Despite having a bit more agro, he's nowhere near as good as Woods.

packer matulino is a good combo, need one more prop to ease the work load. Someone like Brenton Lawrence to work with those 2 will be good. Then you can blood a couple young ones around them
