Russell Packer - OFFICIAL..

If you blokes sign Packer I will be absolutely gutted. As much I really hope you guys pick up quality players to get you out of the rut (I think i'm a closet Wests supporter), I hoped that wouldn't be at the expense of a quality Dragons player like Packer. Packer/Vaughan have been formidable for us, best starting props in the comp so far in my opinion.

Russ will give you a lot of mongrel and go forward that you desperately need. Good pick up if these rumours are true.

Thanks LM, what's gonna happen with Dugan? That piece of the puzzle looks like it's going to affect movements at several clubs.

I think the Dragons should go all out for Eastwood, he'd be a great signing for you guys. You better move really fast though.

I'm thinking Dugan will stay with the Dragons, especially if Packer has signed with the Tigers. Dugan's negotiations are screwing up the Dragon's recruitment momentum and it's looking like we'll lose Russell as a result.

If it came down to a choice between who i'd keep out of the two, i'd 100% keep Packer.

You guys need to move on Lafai sooner rather than later as well. If reports are true that the Knights have lost Gagai to Souths then they may well come knocking for Lafai with a big offer. I know Lafai was rubbish last year but he's been one of your best this year and it's not the first time in his career he's shown form like this.

I assume to share some info and his opinion with those it may concern. I think it's good to have a couple other teams supporters drop by from time to time. A little bit of friendly banter and discussion is always fun.

Agreed. It's a tough one because we saw the worst of Lafai last season and it's to the point where even though he's been phenomenal this year, i'm still slightly sceptical of him. He is playing for a contract after all.
If he does continue this form however, then he's a lock in for left centre. The club has an overload of centres right now, which I why I think with the potential re-signing of Dugan and his shift to the centres, we're bound to lose one. Probably Milne. Maybe even Mann as well.

I hope Lolohea comes off for you guys, he's quality, just needs the opportunity to cement himself. You've got a handy side next year if all you land all your targets.

it's nice to browse this forum from time to time. Wests have a good quality base of supporters, friendly banter is always appreciated.

I'll probably hate you all for a solid day or two if you sign Packer but i'll get over it.
