Do we have any updates of Packer and whether or not he will be playing for us in 2020 or will he be offloaded ?

Apparently he was quoted as saying he is motivated to do well this year and make up for last year. He ain’t going anywhere

So he should be. And we should hope he has rehabilitated both his injuries and attitude. We need him to play well to be a force in 2020. If he plays the majority of the season like he did for the first 5 games of 2018 he's worth his price tag. Sadly, we've only got those 5 games of worth from him. He's mostly been a dud the remainder of the time.

If there was an update, it would have been posted

He will be with us in 2020..

I have a feeling we will see an improved Packer ..point to prove...over the injuries now..

120m and 25 tackles is what front rowers should be aiming for. He was running 30-50metres most games..

I hope he returns back to form injury free. That first 20mins in defence he is a rock!!

He certainly moves at the same speed as a rock

@Kazoo-Kid Them 5 games where he played well, he was amazing, hopefully he comes back strong.

He's not over the injuries. Has a foot issue and cannot even run at the moment

@Geo has feet problems as well , they are usually shoved firmly in his mouth

For a player to be off loaded He would need to be playing I such a way that another club would see value in acquiring his services....

Who would want a player with these stats.

I'm resigned to the fact that he is with us for another 2 seasons on very good money.

You're kidding right? Maybe we should try to medically retire him too.

Edit. This must be a gee up by Packer as another way to resist Maguire and WT. I'd send him to the top specialists and if this is even borderline doubtful tear up his contract. This is nuts......
