Ryan booted!

I said it about Heighington and i'll say it about Ryan. It's a disgrace. A real joke of a joint when you treat players like that. In the case of Beau, he's just had his best season and we reward him with this???? This club now has serious, SERIOUS problems with it's recruitment and retention plans. Us fans demand honest answers from those making these decisions!

I usually back the Management & coach but i cant understand this, letting both these players go is a disgrace, I hope these rumors are not true. This is as bad as last year when Gibbs got the flick, who is out there to sign & take there places? its a bit late in the season for this & it makes you wonder what would of happened if we had of signed Lewis?. :wtf

I was less vocal about Gibbs, even though the scenario is quite similar. The difference being in his place was Adam Blair who we all knew was a quality player. In hindsight it appears poor business though given the season Blairy had. This time round it's not the case. It appears we are letting players to go to save some dollars. Looking away from that side of the matter though and it is mindless to tell a player who had his best season and was one of the sides only consistent performers all year to go look elsewhere.

They say we have salary cap issues? I thought the cap was going up next year am i wrong on this ? also would like to know if we have signed Lotti for next year & Reddy & Utai.

I like Ryan but we actually have a fair few wingers (Koro, Nofolomu, Grant…..and seriously if there were injuries I'm sure there are at least stop gap solutions in the premier league side).

If he stays great, if he doesn't I won't lose to much sleep. Ayshford and Moltzen should go too and defiantly deserve to go first...but the issue is we have absolutely noone to replace them with in those positions

Koro & Nofoluma have a stack of potential, one has played four or five first grade games & the other none, as for Grant he is battling to play state cup which is a long way from first grade, hardly a good replacement for Ryan who can play in various positions all quite well especially wing.

Nofo surely has to be considered with Koro for one wing spot next season. If that happens (as i assume Utai/Tuqiri will occupy one wing), Beau can move into the centres replacing Ayshford who hasn't really owned the spot this season. Although that question will come down to how Ayshford does through out pre season and trials. He's good if wants it bad enough.

What are the tigers doing beau has been one of our best this year, and also he was told to look elsewhere last year poor bloke he loves the tigers and plays well every year, the tigers are stupid if they let beau go and keep moltzen il be very disappointed and probably won't renew my and my dads membership if they keep moltzen and let beau go, I was going to get my brother signed up for membership too next year, come on tigers stop making stupid decisions !!!!!

We complain about having a slow backline but insist in having one of the slowest wingers in the NRL playing 1sts.
I would be happy seeing him leave
1.Tedesco
2.Korobiete
3.Nofoluma
4.Lawernce
5.Utai

In saying that he has changed my opinion on him & he loves the tigers & always gives it his best for the jersey

Such a myth he doesn't have speed.
Not the old Lawrence or Koro speed but he's definitely not slow or amongst the slow wingers in the NRL.

Maybe we didn't get many corporate dollars because we didn't make the finals??? Now we have to reduce our spending?

Speed is one aspect what Beau knows is how to put the ball over the line that accounts for 90 percent of it.

I hope Ryan is not booted - what a ridiculous situation if he is! They recently agreed to terms and Ryan had a very good year, not to mention his ticker and utility value - the other older wingers should be let go first.

Beau's contract hasn't been able to be confirmed due to salary cap issues with third party deals . This has given oTher clubs a sniff and obviouslly they are keen but he won't be going anywhere . Highno on the other hand is probably a fair call to release you don't sign a player on what they have done but what they will do and if he has a chance to get a 3 yr contract in engLand then he deserves that chance to go when he won't be a starting forward next year? Buau was one of the comps best wingers ( rlw winger of the year ) and is a must keep.

Just heard on the radio Ryan is going. I know that doesn't mean it's true but usually where there's smoke there's fire. Heino and Ryan arent the best stars in their position but they have put so much into this team that they deserve a much better send of then this , if at al true . Hope we can get ourselves out of the gutter soon.

The thing about pace is, pretty much every NRL player has it (in the backs at least). But the difference between the guys who are quick and real quick, is that the real quick ones are quick off the mark. I saw Mitchell Pearce streak away a few weeks ago and everyone was like "didn't realise he was so quick" and its cause it takes him a while to wind up. The problem with Ayshford and Ryan is it takes them a few steps to get going so we never really get to see them "Streak away". Koroibete, marshall, lawrence (up until this year) are quick off the mark which is important, particularly when it comes to half openings etc.

IF you cant play no6 when required you not worth keeping. One of Sheens no1 philosophy. Also a spot has to be found for the old busted bus Lote
