Ryan Charged

is Ryan is gone, does Fitzy get the call up?
or Mitch Brown?

would prefer Brown slotting in at fullback in defense

as much as i hate to say it, that tackle is dangerous.. and could compact on the spine.. i think 3 weeks he is lucky to get off with that..

Bugger he will go but that was a pretty bad tackle

I don't remember a lot about the tackle but away from the particular incidient, i don't have a problem with the nrl cracking down on it. It's potentially dangerous so as a deterrent i think it's good to come down hard on players.

Whilst on the topic of the judiciary. Did anyone see Adam Blair try to rip the leg off one of the sharkies on the weekend? They showed it on the sunday roast. I'm surprised he wasn't pulled up for it, definitely had a second go at the leg, just wondering weather this could be 2010's new wrestling move?

If Ryan gets suspended for that, and if Sheens is serious about having a proper winger in the team, then it's time Pritchard made his debut.

I can see how the tackle was dangerous. The frustrating thing is that it was in no way intentional. Ryan and Ayshford (I think) were trying to drag him toward the sideline. When Ryan realised that wasn't going to happen, he just tried to rough him up by throwing him at the ground.

Nicknaming tackles is a disturbing trend. There's no way Ryan's tackle was a so called 'crusher'. He threw Robertson at the ground. He didn't bend him and apply pressure to slow the play the ball down. However, as soon as it is described as a crusher by the media, the judiciary responds with a three match ban. Ridiculous.

Exactly how I see it….add a tag and its all of a sudden a lot worse

From memory he was no where near his head.

Nothing in that, definetly fight the charge.

The biggest thing going against us in fighting it is the fact it is the first one of the season and the judiciary will probably look to set a firm example coming out of the first round.

Setting a dangerous precident though if they use that tackle as any kind of benchmark.

After seeing it again…It was dangerous with no intention....3 weeks fair enough...

Compare that to Kite who gets off....What about the chance of injury to the head.....joke!!!!!

Just watched it again and it was nothing absolutely nothing. If he loses games for this the Judicary are a joke.

Would be good if we had a premiership winning winger sitting on the bench to replace him if need be.
