Well three other clubs were after him. So our coaching staff saw in him what we needed.
He is definite improvement as far as I’m concerned.

I hope so momo&medo we need something. I read that he said this club was his best opportunity for a first grade spot. So I think he knows his current abilities and those he would have been in competition with elsewhere - he realised that we were the weakest. He's no dummy.

He is a lock forward, for mine ….. we still need that one big body mobile second row forward to round off our forward pack.

I have never seen him play lock, nor refererred to as a lock, I think he is an edge backrower with size speed and skill, exactly what we need

Agreed…just what the doctor ordered a classy edge backrower

19 games this season with 5 tries scored.

57 nrl games overall with 10 tries scored.

I like this signing but I can’t believe how quickly we have all dropped off Garner. From what I saw Garner has first grade stamped all over him

Nah, Garner will be part of the future too. With Rowdy getting on and ET's future unknown, there's definitely a place for Garner.

Aloiai is the one I'll be interested in what they'll do with. Will he moved into the middle, or let go of?

I think he's better in the middle but with Mikaele developing nicely, he'll need a big season to warrant an extension. Shouldn't cost the earth though.

Upgrade with upside and versatility. We have a serviceable quartet in the backrow. We need a prop, centre and winger (with pace and size).

Really hope we keep Josh. His fitness seems to be a big concern but we’ve all seen his potential. After their performance at the end of last season I’m a bit puzzled as to how he, Twal and Huth were used this year though.

Good signing. Fast, fairly big and excellent hands for his size.

Someone could confirm but I think he was a 6 growing up before filling out late, hence his move to the forwards?

Not too excited about this. Just another signing imo. Is he one that'll improve us as a whole? I'm not convinced. Hope he proves me wrong.

probably don't think that's the best gauge. Every club was after TMM too. How many clubs were chasing Tui's signature ?

Roosters are paying Crichton about a million a year. The exact amount under the cap isnt known but he would be on 7-800k. That and Matterson plays same position squeezes him out.
Will be the first back rower picked if he signs. Lawrence and Garner to fight for LSR, the other on bench . MCK lurking too.

Aloiai will be in ISP for some time or released. Unfit, poor defence, poor discipline, poor ball handling. Yes he runs hard and is a nice guy but that's nowhere near enough. He's not a kid, potential doesnt come into it!

I’m wondering where Garner fits also

**Chris Lawrence will be 30 years old next month** and Elijah Taylor will be 29 next February. Wests Tigers need to look at good young second rowers for the future which they are now doing.

Off topic, but jeez that makes me feel old.

Off topic but really dont know what happens with this guy. He's been in first grade for 3 seasons now and hasnt improved at all. All energy and can have impact but hasnt improved any areas that you can excuse in a rookie.

The miss on Reynolds last week was something even Mitch Moses would have been embarrassed of.

Speaking of which, what about David Fifita, first player born after 1999 to play FG. He was on his mother's teet when the Sydney Olympics came around.
