Let's be honest and say it doesn't matte who NSW pick as QLD will beat any combination we come up with. I predicting a 3 nil sweep to QLD and some of their greats announcing their retirement from rep football, Smith, Hodges and Slater.

I'll probably be labelled a killjoy. While I'm a NSW supporter and love watching the games, I am more interested in the club competition. To me the scheduling of SOO interrupts and can potentially completely change the course of the club competition.
I don't know of another sport where club seasons are interrupted in this way. NRL is trying to grow its supporter base. Why would any newcomer decide to support a club team that could have its season derailed by games that bear no relevance to the club team's progress in the season? I don't get it.
