I would pick a team that can create a little havoc
Start with Woods and Tamou and have Klemmer and Fifita come on and run riot
1 - Dugan - he is the best in nsw at fullback
2 - Morris
3 - Morris - If he is fit/ Walker
4 - Dyan Walker/Jennings - Both have pace
5 - Mansour - not the safest player but will run hard
6 - Maloney
7 - Pearce )I don't rate either too highly but their form is better than the rest

10 - Tamou
11 - Cordner
12 - Lewis
13 - Merrin

Time to get rid of any members of the 'old boys club' that have failed for many years with NSW and are now failing with Australia. Regardless of perosnal opinion or how good they were in their day, its time to go - Gallen, Bird, Luke Lewis, Tamou
(Imagine a set of 6 where the backline gets a crack and no Gallen or Bird taking pointless hit ups on tackle 2, 3 and 4 and stifling everything….again....)

Yeah Swordy, I would so love to see NSW rid itself of the mythical 'bash brothers' and some of those perennial forwards running around on old legs, once and for all, but alas I don't think it will happen this year :frowning:
Because here we all are making up our teams without Gallen in them, since he is injured and now I hear he has declared himself fit and ready for game one! Argghh! I'm over having to watch this serial ball hog have to take every second hit up and constantly get in the way of any promising backline movements - Farah to Gallen, Farah to Bird, Farah to Gallen, Farah to Lewis, Farah to Gallen, Gallen to himself - enough already!!! God I hope they are smart enough to give us some new blood in the forwards this time, but I won't be holding my breath. Maybe Jackson will sneak a place on the bench 😛ray:
Interestingly, I see that the selectors are saying that Watmough has to improve his form to warrant being considered for selection this year, yet the always injured and out of form Luke Lewis just walks right back in, no questions asked!
