Sack him now

@851 your opinion is duly noted, however had we not had the boardroom crap or the horror run of injuries to our key players would we be having this discussion now? I stand by what I said about the senior players, they should know their job,and fundamental errors they keep making is not up to NRL standard…

Mate as I said in the other thread,Potter should have dropped these non performers when we had no injury crisis,Lawrence,Anasta,Blair,Sirro,Lulia and Galloway all deserved the punt.
This should have happened early then the players would either respect the coach or be in reserve grade,if this happened Potter would be safe and the players would be putting in,he failed in this and now he is gone.

100% correct…

You're having an episode, sometimes it happens to mentally fragile people. Have a couple of panadol, lie down, and if pains persists, please see your doctor, but don't come up with this crap again.

If we sacked Potter know do you honestly think this mob would lift for one game ????

From the Top 17 for 2015 how many players are we actually missing.
Tedesco, Nofo, Simona, Brooks, Galloway from memory, do we really think those 5 will turn us into a top 8 team?? Yes we won 5 of first 7 but most teams time their run and have lapses early on. I think Potter and staff are kidding themselves if they think they should be judged on the first 7 games of the season.

I think we will miss the 8 next year as well, our forward pack is absolutely hopeless, we have no leaders who inspire those around them. Our strength and conditioning is non existent and the skill levels are poor.

We won the first few games and then the other teams woke up to how deficient our coach is in discipline , leadership, team selections, game plans and modern football knowledge. As an example with a proper game plan and real belief form the coach WT would have won tonight's match.

I don't know why we are surprised.Tthe team gave up when the Potter sacking reared its head before Dragons game and the players and coach are only going through motions till end of year.
There is obviously seems no team work now between the respective coaching staff and this us rubbing off on the players. I am sure the Captain has seen the attitude and given up as well.

True Tiger you have NFI, like the coach.. If the coach looses the dressing room for what ever reason, its over. That happened 6 weeks ago. I agree Potter is a nice guy has his integrity is intact, but that will not win us a premership. We need a mongrel ala, Toovey, Bellamy, Hasler etc.

Let someone else have a go for the last game….

I like the idea that someone with no idea is telling everyone else including the coach that he has no idea. That is funny.
You are obviously privy to the fact that Potter has lost the dressing room. What rubbish.
That is just your take on the 6 weeks.
He is the coach - if they don't want to play for him then they can go and play for someone else and that includes the captain.

As for Payten - give him the last game as coach (you would be joking) - you do not get rewarded for whiteanting - He should be sacked now in company with the incompetent defence coach and we do not need a rookie coach either.
There is no Bellamy, Toovey or Hasler looking for a coaching job - that is a pipe dream.

We are the embarrasment of the league

We are a joke

Farah is hated by everyone….all he cares about is telling anyone who'll listen he thinks the ice bucket challenge is stupid

Pathetic...wind us up

I love the old line "they aren't playing for the coach". What a bloody cop out.

How about playing for
Your team mates
Your club
Your fans
Your family

And last but not least YOUR PERSONAL PRIDE.

If players can stop putting in because they don't like the coach then the coach isnt the problem. What happens when the next coach comes in and starts making the tough calls that all the people on here are begging for? The little princesses get their panties in a bunch and stop playing again?

Yeah your right. Why would they care about the customers who pay their wages?

Do you think they will care when no one shows up next week?

I'm not so sure GNR

If these blokes cared they come out on WT TV and apologize every week they have been lapped

Suppose the concern is they would lose their voices constantly apologizing

Yeah give Payto a go. Him and Farahs sniping of the Coach is what got us in this mess. Good idea, reward him for it

I dont know who to believe is at fault. But I just watched a so-called first grade team lose the ball at least four times in the act of playing the ball. And I saw a multitude of fundamental errors committed by players that are being paid big money to play. I feel really sorry for the handful of players, such as Austin, who were busting a gut out there tonight whilst the majority of the team appeared to be thinking about Monday week.

Our completion rates and missed tackles have been atrocious since the Bulldogs game

When was the last time we hit a 75% completion rate or had less than 25 missed tackles ??

Players just don't lose it overnight

With the mess we are currently in a complete clean out is the only solution. I really believe that as soon as this season is over and a new board set up strong consideration must be given to a thorough clean out at Wests Tigers. This includes the sacking of Potter, Payten and Kidwell. Also if Farah continues to think he is King of Wests Tigers he should be placed on short notice that his sacking or selling to another another club will follow.

Coach has to go now….

They are not playing for him No attack at all and defence is shot to bits. Payer selections is abysmal, second rowers in the 3 qtrs., midgets at full back. . Sack the D-coach as well ..

Payton is the man. he deserves a shot he will get the best out of these guys. They are not enjoying their footy. at least let him have one go next week Potter is gone anyway...

Make Brian smith director of football to over see player retention and coaching staff and he can sit as an assistant as well.

Understandably you are upset at the teams performance "haberfield tiger" but you can't say that it's Potters fault the players are not controlling the ball and not finishing their sets. The team is down on confidence and self belief and it shows the way they fumble the ball and blow opportunities they have at scoring. As for Brian Smith .. no thanks .
