If it was going to be done this year it should of been done after the St George game. To do it now is just disrespectful to Potter as a man and would further tarnish our already tattered reputation as a club.

Like I said in the live game thread, even when we were ravaged with injuries during Tim Sheens' era, at least he he had whatever team he had available to him ready for a game of footy. They were never this bad. It's easy to say we're hit with injuries but if Potter was a decent coach, he'd have that team ready to go when the ref blew the whistle to start the game. I dont give a damn that we have players out with injuries. They played park football level footy. I know because I played it for many years and if we were playing that side last night, I would have liked our chances. What that team showed on the field was a direct reflection of the attitude they went out on the field with. Those blokes are paid professional rugby league players. They should be playing at a lot higher caliber than that. If Tim was coaching that side, you can bet they would have performed a lot better than that.
The equation is simple, Potter needs to do the right thing and resign on Monday morning or when the final whistle blows when we play the sharks on saturday, he needs to be terminated.

I recall earlier in the season the form slump in the forum. Back when our coach with no idea had the team charging along, winning against top teams and a bored forum talking about top 4 placings. I thought; what is the forum coming to? We have nothing to talk about.

It's really gone downhill since we smacked the Dogs and it hasn't been a small drop either. If we had lost all the games since then by very close margins, we could probably live with it and chalk it all up to injuries.
Clearly all the off field stuff is having an effect and there's probably lots more going on than we realise.
The side is so different to what it was in the first half of the year.

I would personally go for Anthony Griffin as coach and let him chose his own support staff, he has the kind of attitude we need for our club, it is amazing that it appears to be our older players that are over paid, cause trouble and under perform week after week.

If they re-sign potter he needs to be given full support across the board. I.e board, CEO, staff ect. I like the blueprint potter has been trying to put in place but he is constantly being sabotaged by internal politics within the club… Look.. potter has come from successful clubs like bull dogs and dragons and he knows what it takes to make wt successful.
I really appreciate some of the things his done for the club since his arrival such as not rushing the young blokes into first grade which seems has done and ruined players careers like Lawrence and the way his handled himself though out all the bullshit the club has put him through is inspirational....
Whoever they choose the club need to get rid of whoever causing all these dramas or its going to be more of the same each year.

On willows recommendation I had two panadols, 3 cans and the watched manU game which put me to sleep (they were woeful too). I just want something done. Its been hard to watch and its clear the players are not buying into Potters game plan. I know we have a lot of injury's but you can see no second rowers are hit holes or running lines. Ball handling has been poor and players out of position. It just looked very unstructured.
Lets hope a decision is made soon so the players and coach can have a decent pre season who ever it may be..

from all accounts Potter is a great man, and a good coach…if the players arent playing to there full ability then they should be the ones to answer....not potter, this happend to us a few years back and we continued to sack coaches, then Robbo came in and sacked 4-5players right off the bat for "Not having the right attitude" and we havent looked back, i hope you guys keep Potter.
