Sack him now

from all accounts Potter is a great man, and a good coach…if the players arent playing to there full ability then they should be the ones to answer....not potter, this happend to us a few years back and we continued to sack coaches, then Robbo came in and sacked 4-5players right off the bat for "Not having the right attitude" and we havent looked back, i hope you guys keep Potter.

If we keep Potter the Roosters will win two points every time we play against them. It is no longer tolerable.

Makes no difference he'll get the arse next week anyway

Yep, he's gone.
We still don't have any money for a top line coach so the replacement will be one of the assistants or another untried wannabee.

Put Parish in - then watch this forum light up! You guys reckon Potter is bad. But you know what, we deserve Parish.

Parish was the 10 th best coach the Capras ever had

How can you knock him ??

We do not need Parish and his bad people skills, anyone but him should see us improve,I like Griffin he would do well,or Taylor a forgotten coach..

Yes he was.
But he had an enormous advantage of coaching Salford in the EPL. Did I mention he won 1 out of 6 there. Then bugger me dead goes to the Capras and even improves on that. Yep, he won 7 of 20 up here in Rocky. Stunning.

As I said - we deserve him.

Sorry 851 I was just stirring CQ up

Did you now that CQ and Parish used to be neighbours in Rockhampton

I think Parish used to throw bags of dead prawns on CQ's roof though

They don't love each other

Imagine not working to the best of your ability because you didn't like your boss…or even a colleague. How does any grown man think like that?

Such a bunch of whiny clowns. I'm happy that the bulk of these players will spend their careers in a half assed cellar dweller team. It's what they deserve. Clowns.

If only our team had the same will to win as Manly, a team which has had it's fair share of downers this year. A coach is a leader and if he tolerates clowns in his team and is too laidback most of his team will follow suit unfortunately.

The teams down on confidence. There's a point where bring a hard arse is no longer going to be effective. Self doubt creeps in, and players need support to ride that out until they hit a purple patch again. Not white noise from a coach who thinks telling them to feel confident will make them feel confident. Like thought suppression, it often only amplifies the negativity.

Hopefully the passivity Potter gets slammed for is him being wise to this. Having been a star performer himself, I'd imagine there's a good chance he is.

Geez their not 12 year olds … They should be doing a green beret training coarse at seasons end , that'll give em a reality check & maybe toughen em up !

Being a star performer on the football does not necessarily equate to being an effective coach. The players crave leadership (do not confuse this white noise) from their coach not a pandering to their every complaint. What do you think results when these players actually think when they know they can override their coach by not following his game plan, or not putting because they don't feel like it.. The answer is anarchy - a state of disorder due to absence or non-recognition of authority.

I love the old line "they aren't playing for the coach". What a bloody cop out.

**How about playing for**
**Your team mates**
**Your club**
**Your fans**
**Your family**

And last but not least YOUR PERSONAL PRIDE.

If players can stop putting in because they don't like the coach then the coach isnt the problem. What happens when the next coach comes in and starts making the tough calls that all the people on here are begging for? The little princesses get their panties in a bunch and stop playing again?

What world are you living in. I'm sure the supporters weigh heavily on their minds.

Yeah your right. Why would they care about the customers who pay their wages?

Do you think they will care when no one shows up next week?

Lol they wouldn't give a toss what the fans think. Half the supporter base bash them week in week out, and you think they wanna ''do their supporters proud'' lmao, such a cute thing to think.

You might be right. It would sure explain a lot. But to me if a player doesn't care what their fans think it shows a lack of personal pride. They should want to perform for the fans for the same reason I want to do a good job for my customers every day, because when I do a shit job it reflects badly on me, and I dont like that.

Im not saying it their first concern. But id be embarrased to be shown up in front of 20,000 people week in week out. Wouldnt you?

I think they should make a list of all the coaches that are available - weigh all the pros and cons - give it a lot of thought and talk it over with the others making the decision and make the choice.

From that list that was made there is one coach that stands head and shoulders above all the others.

Good choice boys.

The new coach for 2015-16 is one Michael Potter!!!!
