You could see it coming a mile away. He talked the talk in the off season. He’s blessed with charm and charisma, and it really worked to our advantage getting Luai to the club. But once the season started he was always bound to be a deer in the headlights. We’re a club without a coach. Every day that passes that Richo doesn’t address this, he’s no better than Pascoe.

Yep should have just signed a coach for 2 years and kept him as assistant for a few years , Luai will not be able to do much if we don’t start purchasing some solid players up front to replace , Papi , Stef , Bateman , we also need a big winger
 
He’s signed for FIVE YEARS. There’s no point in entertaining this. It just highlights how idiotic Lee and Pascoe were in bringing back the boys club. Thank god we’ve dropped Farah. I’m not sure how they sort out the remainder of this mess.

I live in hope that he is gone before next year. I dont care who coaches the team, they cant be worse.
 
I can still remember Cringing at Sheen's great plan of Taking over for a few years then handing the coaching job to Marshall..... With Zero coaching experience.

It was bad, so bad. Then we recruited Bateman, Klemmer and had Paps coming. I started to get a little bit of hope, but still expecting a train wreck...

It was worse then I imagined.

I have not seen a single direction or plan beyond 200 passes.



Farah is leaving. The roumers is that Farah and Api see the game very differently and hence the role at nr9. (not a bad thing that Farah is leaving. likewise inexperienced coach).

I see the main hope for our club is to sign Jake Arthur and get his dad to come too.

I'd replace benji with John Morris, but keep benji as attacking coach to give him something he can focus on, rather than having all of the problems to deal with. Any other options?

Attacking coach? please. We are lowest scoring team in the comp. He should just be an ambassador for the club. He has the charm and gift of the gab. Just keep him away from coaching.
 
I would be shocked if they didn’t give Benji a season with Luai at the helm. I still don’t think that saves him I don’t think he’s got it this absolute crap about not being disturbed between certain hours was alarm bells before a ball was kicked.
If you think you can structure anything like that as a FG coach you’re delusional and then there was Fiji.
What I think should happen with Benji is he should look within himself and realise he’s no where near ready yet and step back as an assistant with no time expectation on when he takes over. Otherwise I see his coaching career being over before it begins. Get Arthur in or someone much more experienced that isn’t Sheens to show him the ropes, he thinks he know it all I think that’s part of the problem.

I suppose your pessimism knows no bounds. Maybe we should just nuke the whole club since everyone is responsible for the shitshow that has occurred, CAUSED by people who were there before. It's a job none of the top coaches would take now (Ivan took it before we got really bad). Any ideas on who should be coach?
 
We have sacked Taylor, Madge and Sheens , now people are calling for Benji’s scalp. They have all had the same thing, a totally rubbish roster at their disposal.

Ok if things are still pear shape this time next year, it would be fair to be asking the question, but he needs a fair go at the job with a couple of real footballers
