Sack Sheens Thread

My guess is Humphreys & the board are behind all player movements. Sheens has had no power to yield since last comp game & will go to NZ as soon as possible.
Don't underestimate the influence of major sponsors.
New coach will be Matt Parish. B Elias pushing for Parish.
Tigers will make a play for Jennings if Thurston goes to Penrith.
Not a secret Farah no certainty to stay after next season.
Beau Ryan was mucked around by Tigers but he was no certainty to get a start in top 17 next year. Also Sharks offered good cash, starting position & mateship with ex-Tigers making move easier for him.

a well thought out and valid set of arguments in favour of keeping sheens.
the number of players that have been nurtured into long careers and not necessarily with wests, is testament to his capacity as a coach.
the loss of lui is now proven.
junior moors was just hitting his straps and now is going. former wests players, teo, payne, morris, halatau,gibbs and fifita all got to play finals footy.
 
Doesn't mean anything will actually happen on Monday, Chris. They'll probably have another 3 board meeting before making a decision! WT don't do anything quickly, they like to put everyone through unnecessary strain first.

They wouldn't have a board meeting 4 days later and not do anything

Unless there is an ulterior motive Sheens should clean out his desk ,fax machine ,teepee,peace pipe ,feng shui charts , bingo cards ,Royce and leave
 
There is a good audio story on abc grandstand - the hit up - from an interview with Tony Adams today … About 50 mins into the program.. I tend to believe what he says as he has a good relationship with Tim & tweeted on Friday night before the board meeting that he had just had a 15 min convo with Tim and it was very sad..the message from the interview was tim has lost the support of the majority of the board and because of moving on beau & hino . Lost the senior players and will probably get dumped on Monday.. Tim is not interested in warriors job, wants to stay at Wests Tigers and if not there still wants to coach NRL

Been following the Tigers since 1969,never have i seen so much turmoil, key players lost, coach under pressure to move on, maybe the management team should be looked at before Tim, too many oocasions our team didn't warm to the task on game day, How you keep Lote over Beau needs explaing to us the fans and the board should fess up.

I am old enough to remember Tim runnung round with the Panthers, played hard, played with passion, just like his coaching, yet we sacrifice him and not the retention/management team.

Tim u done well for us, but writing is on the wall…if this year was long an disappointing, next year doesn't look much :deadhorse: :deadhorse: better

How's things with Farah? Is he all on board with Sheens gone and a new coach ? Will this help him stay a tiger?
