Sacking Madge Was Pure Sheenius

Lets be honest mate, apart from a brief 6 year period where we made the finals 3 out of 6 years as Wests Tigers, the history of both Balmain and Wests has been piss poor since 1992 for Wests, and 1990 for Balmain. I don't believe anyone on that Board or the CEO have any idea what it takes to be a successful ( on field results) football club. Pascoe was an amateur at Penrith and still makes amateur mistakes here 7 years later. The whole organisation is a disgrace and has been for years.
Well said.

Balmain last won Grand Final in 1969 (53 years ago) and Western Suburbs last won Grand Final in 1952 (70 years ago).

So even with the combined history of both great clubs one Grand Final win 2005 to show in 50 years. That is very sad.

At this moment in time just want them to look and play like an NRL team. No heart and no Soul.

That's the shot. I'm amazed at what YouTube has with those huge wooden tables made out of tree roots and exotic timbers using a combo of milling and expoxy fillers and polishing, 👍
YouTube is an amazing resource and content creators are very savvy these days, showing you exactly how to produce results.

Success breeds success and failure breeds failure.

I don't think there is any point in blaming one person or all of them. When you are starting from the negatives and have no good role models within the organisation, you succumb to mediocrity.

The competition has moved far ahead of us. Maybe one day we might be able to catch up but for now, let's just enjoy the odd win. It's not a defeatist attitude as we aren't in-charge of this club. We are just supporters who want to see us win.

Was a fantastic move sacking Madge. No interim coach of any note, no new coached shortlisted and ready to sign after the axe dropped. Total kneejerk reaction based on the Chairman's comments on SEN and the lack of action since Madge's sacking.

Have the Sheens sycophants eaten their own heads yet?
It seems fairly clear they're all in on Ciraldo. If they don't manage to get him, this whole initiative will be a complete failure

Is there a correlation between Pascoe’s time at Penrith as acting CEO and the teams performance at the time and the success or results of the Tigers since recruiting him as CEO?
Did Pascoe put too much credence on making the Panthers viable through commercial means and not focusing on the nitty gritty of winning games?
From memory we recruited him after he stepped back to his general manager role at Penrith. He did miss out on the CEO role there didn’t he?
