Sacred family turf to Wests Tigers young gun Mitchell Moses

Who would you rather have at fullback: Moses on debut, or Austin, who is not a specialist fullback?

I'd actually prefer to see Hitchcox bought up out of nowhere.

Not sure mate, has anyone seen what position Austin was training today? If anyone drops out of the team I think it would be Buchanan as Luani will start hooker. Halatau was impressive in NSW Cup last week, was everywhere…I think he will surprise a few. For big Keithy, he will have a blinder mark my word

What a terrible article. Once again the Balmain bias is strong.

"In a wonderful rugby league family twist, Moses, 19, will make his NRL debut at the Tigers spiritual home, Leichhardt Oval, the same suburban venue where his uncle carved out a ball-playing reputation in the 1980s."

How on earth is Leichhardt the spiritual home of WESTS Tigers ? This crap is why the Magpie side of the JV get narky. The constant pushing of the Balmain side.

What a clown…..sorry we have played at Leichhardt for a thoussand years...and sorry Balmain champions offspring are playing for us...and Im sorry the hill is good...and Im sorry the hotdogs are awful...I hope it rains at Leichhardt and everyone gets wet.

Wests foreveveveverrrrrrr..and Cambo is our spiritual home....happy??

West Tigers have played there for 15 years. I am also thankful that some Balmain champion offspring are coming through the ranks. When people question why one side of the JV gets narky, it is articles like these, that do not give the slightest hint that the other side of the JV contribute also.

Why do you think the blokes in Black and White at the Campo games yell 'Wests' because we are making sure the only side of the JV that has any $$$ and contributes the most gets some recognition. Most of them support the Wests Tigers and want the Wests part of it to have a fair go.

I thought Austin played well at fullback last week. He was thrown into that position when he was mentally expecting to play other positions. He is a good player to have in your top side. There are very few that are true utility players but he is the real deal.

Because nobody likes the magpies but even us who support another team have a soft spot for the mighty tigers and grounds like leichardt oval. I guess what it comes down to is balmain used to have the money but now the magpies do but the problem is nobody likes them…. There, I said it

The Article is about Mitchell Moses.
You tell us then, what former Magpie is he related to that you would have liked them to acknowledge?

I'd rather talk about Todd Carney than the us & them thing again. Again. Again. Again. Again. Again.

Genoshan, members like you do nothing to promote JV forum harmony, ask anyone what former Wests players they remember, I doubt anyone would come up with anyone else other than Tommy.
How many former West players have offspring coming through the ranks, the silence is deafening, as somebody else said, everyone disliked Wests, everyone liked the Tigers, Balmain are down financially ATM but will come back, so being popular is their contribution to the JV at the moment, tomorrow, fans will still dislike Wests.

Really, this is news to me.

Preaching to others about harmony, yet throwing in your own little cheap shots. You're just the absolute model of harmonization.

Back on to the point

I hope if Mitch does get a run , he takes the opportunity with both hands, runs with it and helps us to a memorable win

Dudes…seriously. The journo needed an angle for a story and went with that. If it was some bloke called Jayden Donnelly or Brayden Dorahy he may have mentioned Wests. Who cares.

Why does every mention of Balmain or Wests become a slanging match.

Could you all just grow up!!!

Silly post to revive mild tension in the first instance, and then a stray rabbit pulls a wedge out of his ass and really drives it in.

Here we go again
