Don't know how much truth there is to this but there Is a rumor doing the rounds that a current top 8 club is in serious breach of the salary cap…...Sure hope it's not us....

I dunno CB, it could cause Gaz is worth alot of coin, and if u think about it, soward would be worth abit, same as Morris and Young, then u also add Weyman and Cooper who will be on big bucks, and alot other guys, also they are buying Moltz who's at about 250g here and they offered more so getting rid of Gaz to buy Moltz and other guys, so that makes Gaz leaving for keeping them under the cap useless cause in the end they will be lucky to have money left over after buying more, so it could be possible

Dragons - 13 of their players are rep players. rep players are worth average approx 300k a season which is approx 3.9m.
i'm guessing hunt, green, merrin and prior are payed a few hundred bucks too.
lets not for get the depth with cuthbertson rein stanly goodwin and others who arent playing for free.
Manly - 11 rep players at approx 300k a season = 3.3m
robertson, rose, t-rex, J.G, all would be on decent coin
add cherry and quite a few others to add depth who wouldnt be playing for free and u have to ask questions
Broncos - heaps of reps but also heaps of rookies
warriors - nope
Tigers - nope only 4 rep
NQ- few rep players but few rookies or cheapies too
knights - not until next year
melbourne - slater cronksmith each 500k minimum although i dont think they would rort ever again

I had some mail a few weeks back that it was Manly
Just my own personal theory,
Manly continually having a dig at gallop and the nrl earlier this year regarding the punishment to Brett Stewart could be seen as a tactic to shame/con/whatever the nrl into taking it easy and/or divert attention away from a potential salary cap breach.
Again, MY personal theory, no rumour, no insider info or anything like that.
