TPAs are a joke and make a total farce of the claim that the salary cap creates an even playing field. If the NRL was serious about all teams having an equal share they would have control of all TPAs. There should either be a limit on the dollar amount a club can have in TPAs or all TPAs should be pooled and divided equally amongst all clubs. Of course neither of these possibilities are ever going to happen and the money poor junior talent rich clubs will continue to be plundered by the elite clubs.

Impossible to police the TPA's, which means they are rorted. In their true sense they are ok, as apparently the player would be entitled to receive the payment regardless of where they play, but in truth, it doesn't work that way at all.
