Sam Faust RIP.

Terribly sad news coming from North Queensland that young up and coming back rower Sam Faust has lost his battle with luekaemia, puts a 2 point win into perspective.
While all the forum members are bitching about this and that please register firstly to be a blood donor with the Red Cross Blood Bank and secondly put yourself on their bone marrow register, you never know the life you could save could be of a relative a friend or a complete stranger.

Sam had a trust account which was being held to try and get him to the US for lifesaving treatment He is survived by his beautiful wife Kya and three beautiful daughters aged 4 ,2 and 11 months . I don't know what the trust account will be used for but no one would begrudge his wife of these funds . The donations can be made to Sam Faust Trust account or any help by emailing <samfausttrustaccount@hotmail.com>. Puts it all into perspective RIP Sam Faust</samfausttrustaccount@hotmail.com>

Before this becomes yesterday's news I put it out to our forum members, please be a donor, a little blood every 3 months won't hurt, most employers will give you the time off so even if it's just to dodge work DO IT, while your there ask about it to find out if your suitable to be a bone marrow donor.
While you're at it make sure that your Driver's licence details are up to scratch, someone out there needs what you don't need when it all comes down to it, and if you don't feel it necessary to donate to the

Well said, Leroy.

RIP Sam and condolensces to the family. How very sad, especially for his litle kids … certainly puts things into perspective.

That's awful news.

Cancer truly is a bastard of a disease.

Hoping his trust account for his treatment will become a assistance fund for his family.

Get It all checked out, I'm now 51 and despite giving myself a hammering with the drugs and grog it's all starting to catch up, type 2 diabetes and no longer able to belt the $%^& out of the assholes, it catches up with you eventually, as much as a tough bloke I thought I was my daughter has put it all into perspective, she wants to see this old bastard have a life with the grandkids.
Sign all the dotted lines, don't be afraid to talk about the men's stuff with your doc, live to be 100!.

Look on a sombre note , tonights footy show just confirmed that all funds raised would be given to the Faust family . But every dollar in the world can't replace a husband ,father ,son , brother or sister Totally agree Leroy with every thing you have said
