Samoa vs Tonga

Does anyone know if the Foxtel will be televising the Samoa vs Tonga on April 20 at Centrebet Stadium? I think the under 20's State of Origin is also on that day.

I know there has been some discussion on this game on the LeagueUnlimited.com site but you would assume that as the cameras are already there you'd think it would be televised.
Much discussion on that forum about where the game should be played rather than at Penrith, commonsense would say that the promotion and development of the game would be better served if the match was played in either Samoa or Tonga but I think in this day and age there are more Samoans & Tongans in Australia than their native land.

If anyone missed them - the teams are:

Tonga

Richie Fa’aoso - Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles
Glen Fisi'ahi - New Zealand Warriors
Mahe Fonua - Melbourne Storm
Daniel Foster - Penrith Panthers
David Hala - Brisbane Broncos
Sydney Havea - Hakame Broncos
Silivia Havili - New Zealand Warriors
Brent Kite - Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles
Samsoni Langi - Sydney Roosters
Siuatonga Likiliki - Newcastle Knights
Sika Manu - Penrith Panthers
Sam Moa - Sydney Roosters
Fuifui Moimoi - Parramatta Eels
**Ben Murdoch-Masila - Wests Tigers**
Michael Oldfield - Sydney Roosters
Pat Politini - Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks
Nafe Seluini - Sydney Roosters
Jason Taumalolo - North Queensland Cowboys
Anthony Tupou - Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks
Etu Uaisele - Wyong Roos

**Samoa**

Martin Taupau - Bulldogs
Antonio Winterstein - NQ Cowboys
Kalifa Fai Fai Low - NQ Cowboys
Daniel Vidot - St George-Illawarra
Leeson Au Mau - St George-Illawarra
Ben Roberts - Parramatta
David Fa'alogo - Newcastle
Pita Godinet - NZ Warriors
Carlos Tuimavave - NZ Warriors
Lama Tasi - Roosters
Sam Tagataese - Sharks
Mark Taufua - Sharks
Roy Asotasi - Souths
Jeff Lima - Souths
Junior S'au - Melbourne
**Eddy Pettybourne - Wests Tigers
Masada Iosefa - Wests Tigers**
Tanielu Pasene - Samoa
Leia Saofaiga - Samoa

None of them did anything of note. I barely noticed any of them, I don't think BMM got a whole lot of game time, Iosefa was a passenger and Eddy was fairly sub par although he did put a good shot on Moimoi, although he had a ball stripped by Fonua who went 60m off the back of it before Likiliki scored on the following play.

Shame the score got away. The first half was a very high standard RL game. I really hope this game is a regular feature of this weekend.

Iosefa was ok, professional but not brilliant. Ed and BMM were solid but overshadowed by other forwards on the field - It was a very willing forward battle though.

Did anyone else see at the end of the match as the commentators wound down the coverage and the promo screen for the NRL 360 show came up, well underneath it you can see the crowd running around on the field and during this 360 promo screen I noticed the security guard hop off his chair and within seconds a couple of kids run over, steal his chair and bolt off and this big chubby security dude starts chasing them around hahahaha. Have a quick look for anyone who Fox IQ'd it. Look closely, It's literally right at the end and it's a classic.

As Sterlo mentioned on The Footy Show players such as Feleti Mateo that are eligible to be picked for Australia,NZ or England in the World Cup but aren't selected to play for the 3 powerhouse countries should be allowed to play for any lesser country for which they are eligible by the International Rugby League heirachy. It is the only way that the international game will grow.

Having Australia, NZ and England as the only real genuine chances of winning the World Cup isn't doing the game any good on an international level, we need Tonga, Samoa, Fiji etc to be able to field their strongest teams possible to make it a bit more interesting and competitive. It would be fantastic if one day one of these "minnow" nations won the World Cup.

I don't think they took the final kick at goal because all the officials had buggered off.
