BTW totally agree with you. I read that comment from Rothfield and thought "You Idiot".
I actually think that's a huge problem with this world. A horrible thing happens and we have people being stupid about it. NFI what's going on but 100% sure Rothfield is being a total goose.

Our board is not and never has been the most dysfunctional board in NRL.
Even in the dark days of "Balmain vs Wests" where Tim Sheens and our team was forgotten about, we had NOTHING on Manly, Parra or some of those nutcase clubs.
Look, they made mistakes. We clearly haven't had AVO's and massive punchups, ok except the Robbie Farah vs David Furner thing... but that wasn't board level.
As bad and disfunctional as the Balmain/Wests divide could be at least they were a counterbalance to each other,unfortunately now you just have one section doing everything they can to retain power and remove all threats for years.A benevolent dictator would be fine but that is the opposite to what we have at HBG as we seem to have a vindictive dictator.
