You have to be mentally tough during the games. Training and prep is key but when I see our blokes NOT give up during a game I will be more impressed

Testify brother. Don't see the point in being able to run up sand hills if you're still clocking off 20 minutes into a game.

I know most clubs do the Wanda sandhills, but this year will be different for the Tigers. Potter can assess again who pushes on through the pain and mental barriers and who caves in. Probably more for his assessment then preparing the boys motors for the season.

start finding the players correct positions would be a good start as well , find out who takes the kicks in play , who kicks for goal etc , we are only around the corner from a new season and our players last year were moved a lot plus we have new players

Yeah its a bit like the famous story of the prop that came out from England in the 60's to play for the Roosters The coach at the time would make them run 5 laps for every try they let in This one day the scoreline was really starting to mount up

The late John "Bomber"Peard asked him behind the tryline "not going to make any tackles today mate " to which the Pommie prop replied "I'm saving meself for training lud"

It's about the commander and chief making his own judgment and assessments of the individuals in the playing group. Don,t think for one minute this isn't-happening ! There are going to be a few surprises one thinks next year and for the best .
