Santi returns ?

Santi is a gun mate and we have a million injuries…have u seen the kid play.

Yeah, and He tries hard for a kid his size is about the best I could say about him.
A gun? give it a rest. He's Liam fulton with less ball skills.

He will play a part in some very good years that are not far away. When he fills out he will be a very good footballer and lets face it with the injuries we have every year we need all the players we can get

Good luck to him if the eye of the tiger is in him I see no reason why he cann' t make a statement , these kids are young let there body's fill out for a few years before throwing them on the scrap heap.
And right Parra have a pack of forwards that demolish teams every week as with the Tigers sometimes you don't know what you have got till it's GONE!

Santi is much bigger than people think, his size will not hold him back.

He is a very good player, and like most forwards, dont generally go from NYC to NRL.

He did captain Aussie schools and was player of the Tournament in the selection trials (Brooks one the same award the following season.

A good signing, he is a much better player than Akoula and Brown,

Everyone is going on like he is 5'10 and 90 kegs,

187cm and 101 kgs not bad for a lock and he does have ball skills and is a tackle monster.

Surely those bagging him can NOT have seen this kid play.

Yep, really developed an attacking game last year, definitely one of my favourites from the 20's last year, stoked to have him back!

😕

Yep…..

Santi was a stand out player in Ball, Matthews and than NYC, arguably our very best over the last 2 seasons.. He skippered the country, starred in the SOO for 20's and has progressed as a top performer all the way through

Akoula did not make the NYC side as a 19 yo, was a fringe player as a 20yo, he was a stand out in the GF, and has predominately come off the Bench in NSW cup last year, and early this year.

He has been given a chance in NRL and did very well initially, and has sinced dropped off.

I think Santi is a far superior player, and believe he will get a chance, probably next year.

You would go along way to find many that follow underage footy closely to find many that would rate Akoula above Santi.

I respect your opinion and you've seen more NYC than me, but there's been so many players that have been a standout at NYC and failed to make the grade at NRL level.

Akoula has performed in FG already (defensive issues, yes, but he's made an impact) so it's a big call to say Santi is a better player. We will never know until he plays FG.

My issue is, he signed for the Eels on big $$$, why did he not get a look in considering Parramatta's pack is ordinary?

Perhaps I should rephrase, better prospect than Akoula.

Parra's pack is going ok, they have opted for a very hard running physical pack, maybe Santi does not fit that mould, he is more the athletic and mobile type.
