Santi returns ?

Awesome news.
Perhaps all the young guns re-signing gave added incentive?

I think heaps of us were really pissed off when he left for Parra and I for one thought they were lining him up as the next Hindmarsh.

Whatever! Parra's loss - big time. This is fantastic for the Tigers.

He could of been in first grade right now. Would of got probably the call up last year instead of Brown had he stayed. Great re-signing or whatever it is, welcome back.

He was with us last year and didn't get a run. Forwards can take much longer to mature but I can't see him cracking first grade with us for a while unless we have major injury issues.

Like we currently do?

With Fulton reportedly out for the next month Santi's time in first grade could occur much earlier than anyone anticipated..

Might be a bit early yet to ask this question Smeg , but is he on a second tier contract or is it a Top 25 contract ??

Like we _always_ do! I reckon he'd be a good chance of getting a run if the injury curse that is on this club keeps up - welcome back son!

Going off the article it says he will train with NSW Cup, probably 2nd Tier.

Lovett is better now, will be better in the future and Santi will never have good enough size for my liking.

Pass

Agree. He'll only ever be a lightweight forward and we have far superior backrow options now.

I dont agree. Santi was the stand out in the U20s origin last year. In every game I saw in the NYC last year, Santi outperformed Lovett.

Santi is a rugged backrower in the Hindmarsh mould.

Whether he makes it as a first grader, Im not sure but I rate his prospects higher than Lovett.

I agree ST…...he was def our best forward and killed it in Origin.....def our best in the finals too,he was just giving it everything......

Def better than Lovett.....I am stoked to have him back.....a real goer with skills and worth ethic.

Great signing.

Brad Arthur told him he would never crack first grade a the Eels. Why would it be different at Wests? We have a better pack than the Eels.

After what Brad Arthur told him, Santi will come back to Wests Tigers more determined than ever - and he will make first grade in a better team than the Eels.
