Hahaha… Going out to rosehill today... Today's r2, no. 2 had good form... Won is only start.. I was ready to go for it.. Until this mornings scratching
Lot of rain here... Could be a heavy track

iam going to the races as well , were in the ascot room. will be hard to back a winner today.
 
Im on Mr Utopia in R4 at Sandown and Andrassey in the last race there as a bit of a long shot.

How did you go BP?
I got the 1st and last winner and a couple of placings…. Slightly in front$$$$ at the end of the day
All our girls loved the fireys ... Lol

had a bad day on the punt over all, but no real damage. yes my wife and all the woman on our table loved the fireman. i just told them i was not prepared to spend 6 months in a gym to look that bad. lol
 
Decades ago I was guaranteed winners over the Easter Carnival, before I knew that races were bought, advised to put my house on but only put a weeks wages. Biggest investment mistake of my life. Five wins out of six starts.

A weeks wages was about $30 only a couple of hundred altogether. I had only met the guy in the pub but he was swearing on his mother's life that The Developer and Lord Nelson would win. On the sixth race the jockey upturned another jockey and so his mount loss due to disqualification.

But had really big wins on High Flier, a trotter whose owner my mate had being giving the needle for a few weeks, got 25:1, and another of his horse he got for nothing coz broke and ran opposite way, won at 50:1, my family won a fortune on them, same wages then we walked with thousands. Those were the days at Townsville 1972

Both in the 80's and both in Sydney

One of the horses Crystal Bubble won at 33-1 and Canterbury Star won at 25-1

I took Crystal Bubble with the field and won around $ 9 k with the win bet included

But I've also punted a grand on a horse and lost (winnings )

Guarantee though I've lost far more than I've won over all those years , and rarely bet these days , maybe once a month

And you cant even scrape up enough for a carton to bet Hobbo….REX... :laughing:

Hang on , Hobbo still hasn't taken the bet in regards to any club beating Chelsea at home , and Man City ,Arsenal and Liverpool away from home
