It is easy to overlook through our dissapointment what an outstanding debut he had

78 metres in attack, 34 tackles

He was thrown right into the deep end with BMM coming off and he took it in stride.

Spence also did well in very limited game time

Yeah I liked what I saw with Sue. Same with Akoula, got the makings of pretty handy player for us in a couple of years time. Got a few guys ahead of him but took his chance well yesterday. Will put further pressure on our other backrowers to perform now.

maybe he can be an inspiration to the " more experienced" member of the forwards, who is not providing value for money.

I've been looking forward to his debut, I think he should play many more NRL games.
I was impressed and think he will only get better.

yeah he caught my eye , very impressed .
For what it's worth i say keep bringing these young guns up , realistically we wouldn't make a dent even if we were to make the semis so lets forget about that and let these young kids experience 1st grade with alot less pressure on them and expectation .

Jesse Sue is a good kid & has a heap of potential, good to see him do well. just heard on the Radio the rumour is Barba off to the Broncs this year.

Very happy to see Sue get a start. Living here in W.A, I dont get to see the young fellas play very often, but I remember thinking when i watched last years toyota cup gf, " Geez, I like this young blokes attitude and style"
Would be good if the nrl had a league channel on fox where we could watch all the under 20's and n.s.w. cup games etc

He's a bit on the slight side, but he's a young goer, did a mountain of work yesterday. Good on him.

Was an impressive debut. His workrate was very good and it looks like he has some more size to put on. I expect he won't be a regular but he'll play his parts.

very impressed, of the debutants this year (excluding Buchhan) he is the one that has impressed me most.

He caught me by surprise in last year NYC finals where he was really good, until that point I did not really notice him, but the more I see the more I like, he is very athletic and seems like a good prospect.

I haven't seen very much NSW cup this year, I assume he must be going alright to earn a run with the big boys.

Good debuts for both Jesse and Shaun…what an occasion to do that...stuff the result, not many of their generation will be able to say they played at the SCG - regardless of the grounds faults
An historic comemeration of a special day in the games history

He'd be a weapon if he can put on another 5kg or so. I recall Payten saying Sue's bodyfat levels were so low it was difficult for him to put on weight though. He certainly had a solid debut.

Adam Blair was so impressed with how these youngsters were playing that he just stood there and watched them.
