AND it is a known fact that these minorities were treated alot better with Suddam there. Believe me, I have family and friends who come from these minorities so I'm pretty sure I'm better qualified to answer this question.

They weren't treated perfeclty but much much better. They had access to schools, universities and hospitals and at the very least they weren't singled out, made to pay taxes for not being Muslim, driven out of their homes, burnt alive, raped and decapitated.

I am not anti America mate, I have stated before in this very thread that I think America is an amazing country that i have visited many times and will keep visiting because places like Vegas, NY, LA, Miami and the like are awesome. The people are welcoming and the place is appealing to what I like when traveling. It is a powerful and extremely influential country.

However as justified by the video link I posted and you credited as being a "good doco" I am very critical of America's foreign policy and the consequences it has on countries, regions and even its own people all for its own benefits.

I am definitely not pro terrorists either and i hate these scum more then you or anyone else on this forum. So please do not assume or state that my opinions or perspective have any correlation to these animals, their values or their way of life because you have no bloody idea (ahhhh trying so hard to keep this civil, but you really are testing me mate).

Stop assuming you know me, my position or anything like that because you dead set have noooooo idea.

Last night i presented my opinion on America's foreign policy, backed up my argument with a video that you agreed with and thats that. Don't try to paint me as an anti-west, anti-american person because I'm far from it and please do not try to associate me with these "arabs" as you call them and their barbaric ways because these people make me sick.

Just because someone presents an argument that differs from yours it doesn't mean you have to automatically categorise them into a specific group which somehow opposes what you believe in. Simply by witnessing your behaviour in this thread and a few others Jerry I have noticed that is something you have done often for some reason. If someone doesn't agree with one of your arguments they are automatically on an opposing team. That is so far from the truth so please stop pretending you know who people are or what they believe in.

As you would say we live in a free country, we should be able to present our opinions without being being stereotyped into certain groups or people just because it differs from someone else's

Ps. What does America funding these radicals (the point i have been arguing) have to do with their behaviour after their emergence ?

If anything your link shows what types of groups/people the US gave room to expand and then funded for their own benefit only to have it backfire in their faces to the detriment of minorities in Iraq and Syria who are now being slaughtered.

That is so very distant from the truth. These scum are the most barbaric things on the planet, they are disgusting and all deserve to die long, slow and extremely painful deaths for their actions over the last 12 months.

Unfortunately America sees them useful in some way and instead of annihilating them is prolonging their existence. What's more unfortunate is the fact that America is probably the only one who is able to extinquish them in a few days without any further destabilisation of the region.

It's a complex issue, whether the US has done more good than harm; in regards to the Middle East at least; is certainly up for argument. Their interference has caused a lot of problems.

The Iranian coup in 1953, orchestrated by the CIA and MI5, was the beginning of very strained relations. A coup organised over oil removed a democratically elected secular president. The region would be a tad different if Mossadegh had remained president.

Just an example of a stuff up from the West.

Not that that justifies things currently happening there, but there has to be acknowledgement of what the West has helped cause
