Anyone on here write school reports (i.e. are you a teacher?). How much do you hate writing them? Spoils about a month of my life.
Anyone here get school reports for your kids? How much notice do you take of the way they are written these days?

Got my report last week.
Teachers need to be a little open about how they feel about the student.
Sometimes writing bad stuff can help.

I hate reports! Writing everything in a positive manner does not always help the parent or the student. *takes teacher hat off and pops on parent hat* I only really read the general comment on my kids' reports. That's where I expect the teacher to let me know of anythingthat my kid needs help with or does really well. I expect that of there are issues academically the teacher will have already done something about it.

PS - Teachers - check out 'report robot' … reports done in about 3 hours tops!

I used to write school reports years ago in a past career mostly a politically correct exercise. I found parent teacher interviews far more useful.

Hate waiting for school reports as they come back during the holidays and all I want to do is enjoy my holidays, not think about reports and anything to do with school!
