Off contract at the end of the season and can't get a run at the cowboys, only 24-25 and has heeps of potential big enough to play prop and is a very good second rower. Not as good as Ellis but would certainly add impact and wouldn't cost the world.

cott Bolton (born 9 May 1987 in Innisfail, Queensland) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League (NRL).

Bolton played junior rugby league for the Innisfail Brothers and made his NRL debut for the Cowboys in 2007, he played 6 games that season.[1]

By 2009 Bolton had become one of the Cowboys rising stars. He played in all 24 games games in 2009\. And had been talked about as a future Representative player by Queensland coach Mal Meninga and his coaching staff.

In seasons 2009 to 2010 Scott Bolton was named in Mal Meninga's Queensland Origin Emerging Squad.

In season 2010 Bolton was one of the Cowboys' best players in a disappointing season. He set a new record for the most tries in a season scored by a Cowboys' forward (7). He started all 24 matches and averaged 109 metres, 30 tackles, 12 linebreaks, and over 20 offloads a match. Bolton managed to play over 78 minutes a game in the season.

Injuries significantly affected Bolton's 2011 season: he tore his left calf muscle in round 1 against the Brisbane Broncos. He returned in round 6 against the Canberra Raiders in the Cowboys' starting line-up, scoring a try, but was reverted to the bench when teammate Gavin Cooper returned from suspension the following week. Bolton was named in the starting line-up for the round 15 clash against the Warriors. However, injury struck again; a tear to his right calf muscle ruled him out of action until round 21 of the season. Bolton was a member of the Cowboys team that lost the qualifying final to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles. He made 103 metres, over 20 tackles and 2 try-saves in the game. Overall he played in 15 games during the season, averaging 90 metres and 25 tackles in each.

A good solid 1st grade player(market value unknown). I have always liked the look of Gavin Cooper over the past 6 seasons. He reminds me of Simon Mannering. GC has never received the accolades he deserves. I don't know his current market value. Sorry to divert.

Hmm… I really see Scott as an equal to what Fulton and Rhino provide us. There is another boy playing at Easts Tigers I'd like to see running around for us. Kenny Bromwich!

There is also a good winger named Ryan Tongia who would go ok in NRL...

we need some one who can make 100m a game and 30 tackles and that is what Bolton would bring, he seems the sort of bloke Sheens likes big enough to play prop and the back row.

I think Bolton is a very handy first grader, rate him highly.
They have a heap of super back rowers, outside the 2 well publicised young gun (sims and Taumololo) thye have 2 other guns Blake Leary and Grusmuhl, both look like very handy first graders in the making.
