Scott Fulton sacked

I think sheen’s would have been ok in the coaching director role.
One thing that sticks out to me is early on he said that the coach can choose the players he wants
This is also stern belief of richos aswell

Question is though who was picking them.
The loudest voice on the ‘list committee.’

Sheens was well and truly past it in any full-time role in my view, and I think he realised it was mess that he was incapable of fixing very early in the piece. He had a great influence on the game during his prime and we can right the last stint off at the WTs as an added bonus to the retirement fund.

Definitely.
It is amusing that our fans are putting forward romantic notions of why he signed here.
He has been given 5 years of stability and a boatload of cash. End of story.
He’ll buy in when he’s here, I have no doubt. But money was the driving factor.

Money was the driving factor for him leaving Penrith. As for why he chose us over other offers, his manager made the point at the last press conference that there wasn't much different between the competing offers.

So, I'm assuming that it wasn't just money that led him to choose us.

So we assume must be Benji, maybe Richo and/or Api, that’s good but let’s hope it’s a
positive outcome.

Oh please...

Jerome came because of Benji Marshall, Api Koroisau, Staines and Naden.
Jerome could have easily been lured to the dogs, but I suspect the dogs were not keen on him and had Burton locked in at NR7.

The club Manager, the board and all that stuff just isn't relevant to him. Players pass balls, train at gym, tackle and that's that. They don't care about the board level and maybe wave at the club chairman occasionally. Luai knew Pascoe, maybe liked him a little, doubt he mattered anywhere near as much as Koroisau.

What I think swung him was Luai actually lined up in a grand final against Marshall. The more I think about it, the more I go "wow, that is some weird history"... Even though I don't believe Marshall played that round.
You cant tell me the Clean Out to those Idiots and the appointment of Richo wasnt a major contributor.

The money plus decent leadership is critical for elite employees

There was a lot time put into it, but I think Richo closed the deal.

I remember Richo coming out defending Jerome publicly before he signed, especially his personal attributes.. that had previously been under attack.

While the dogs stayed quiet and Ivan acted like a spoilt brat.

It’s not the straw that broke the camels back, but it doesn’t hurt either.

A combination of things dragged him across.

But make no mistake, it was total victory. He is a remarkable player and person.
