Would have to be some juicy odds for wests to get the spoon, unless penrith are out of the comp?

the question is do you believe we will get the spoon.
or do i have to wait for the gameday thread in round 1 to find the answer.
 
How can we finish last when Eels and Panthers have a useless team. We will be in the top 8 and its good no one is giving us chance we will be flying under the rader this year.

not after we have won 4/6 in the first 6 weeks…but I like the underdog tag it suits our team

On the way we finished last year I can understand where he is coming from in saying that, the way we finished 2011 we were touted by most as the team to beat in 2012.

Its all crystal ball stuff, like every year their will be over achievers and under achievers, lucky teams and unlucky teams, injury ridden teams and healthy teams. Its a very fine line between a great season and a very poor season. All I ask for is the team to have a real dig

Ok well Ill give you some insight. He was one of the only people that thought it was rediculous that we were favourites last year because of the uncertainty of our halves combination and he was SPOT ON.

His Preview does worry me.

He makes a lot of good points… One in particular is leaving BMM out of the starting side to accomodate Anasta. Im a big supporter of Anasta but he wont hit the ball up hard like a backrower should and that may hurt us. I hope not though.

I have no idea though why people are tipping us for the spoon. It just baffles me...

May be he is trying to divert punters to bet on Tigers for the wooden spoon insteAd of final 8/final 4\. Suits the TAB.
 
MG (not the greatest rugby league mind) has also picked us the for spoon.

I actually have quite a bit of optimism for this season (more than normal even).

Lots of people thought we shouldn't have been favourites, including me and lots of fans on this forum.

Premiership and spoon betting is a mugs game at this point of the year. Top4/8 and missing finals at least has some merit/skill involved.
