One of many variations we could lace up this year.. looking forward to see who jumps out and surprises us this year..

It’s a bit too optimistic methinks. I think as long as we don’t hear any more drama regarding Noffa, he’ll still be there in round 2.
Yeah... Agreed.
Benji will follow Sheens mantra in playing his most experienced guys from the get go... It's a long season with many variables.... The young guys chances will come naturally... Rep selections.. suspension.. injuriess.. lack of form... We have hardly any experience in the three quarters

Most clubs go with experience in round 1 (round 2) in our case. As long as he shows commitment through January and February, Noffa will be given first crack. From there….Who knows.

Many other teams started back this week... I'd hope we are back too
Meanwhile the poms busy instgramming in ol blighty
Really, is this another festering sore the Tigers are so good at ? Wooden spooners giving high priced recruit dispensations ?
Hope it’s a farewell and he’s on his way home for training.

1 Bula
2 Lobb
3 Toa
4 Olam
5 Staines
6 Fainu
7 Sezar
8 Stef
9 Api
10 Klem
11 Ice

17 Seyfarth
my take for 2024 (confirmed signings):
1 Bula
2 Lobb
3 Doeihi/Toa
4 Olam
5 Staines
6 Latu Fainu
7 Sezar
8 Utoikamanu
9 Koroisau
10 Klemmer
11 Papalii
12 Bateman
13 Pole

14 Da Silva
15 Twal
16 Samuela Fainu
17 Seyfarth

IMHO, Twal and Sayfarth are not the impact players; one of them will do, as I would prefer hard running, aggressive, "taking no enemies" prop, which means we are still at least one to two props short considering possible injuries.

Reckon you’re very optimistic thinking he’ll start over Staines, Junior or Naden…
I know you’ve got a soft spot for him from that training run all those years ago
- but surely that’s wearing off by now?

I have no emotional connection to him whatsoever

A bold strategy, unlikely to happen, but would be interesting to see.
You’re obviously a lateral thinker !

It may not be the rd2 team, but could very much be the rd25 team if we aren't looking flash hot and need to bring in some new blood
