Second Tier cap now exhausted

We've effectively lost 5 of our original top 25 to other clubs and retirement. It seems silly that we can't promote a player from the second tier to a top level contract to at the very least cover who we've let go…

Is this definitely not possible?
That is for those who have retired or left the club?

OK the players who did not play NRL can be replaced ie BMM ,Mr T

That is why Lodge and someone else would of been able to have been brought up

Koroibete , Fulton and Anasta can't be replaced until we are out of semi final contention

That happened after Friday night , seeing we are out of contention and playing two other sides out of Top 8 contention we can get dispensation from the NRL to bring players in to replace injured players as we did last season to play Saints and we brought up Brooks and Nathan Brown

The only thing being now is do we want to strip the sides (NYC and NSW Cup ) that are battling for Top 4 spots ??

I'd like to see Moses playing finals football for the NYC or NSW cup. Is he still eligible? Does he have to play any more games down there this season?

Same goes for Hitchcox but I'm sure he could play the last two games in the top grade and still be eligible.

If we can get dispensation to elevate other players we should just send our boys that are eligible to play finals footy in NSW cup and NYC back to their sides and roll out Ron Massey Cup players in first grade.

Well now that we are well and truely out of contention coming up against two sides in the same boat Wests Tigers should apply for exemptions and Blood blokes like Hoeter and Toni

I'm going to bump this for anyone who didn't get the memo. There have been a few "why is Potter playing backrowers in the backs?" posts.

I think half the problem is the club doesn't really say, they just throw random joe out of position and the fans wonder wtf the coach is doing.
If they just came out and said, 'we can't play anyone new because the nrl doesn't allow it' wouldn't people be less inclined to whine?
