Sendining Brooks off - Icing on cake for Reffs

Why on earth was he sent off the field? He copped a hit in his ribs, there is no way he was concussed and he got up and shook it off. That was pathetic, reff made the trainer take him off. Reff is bloody bias and whether you agree or not he cost us, he cost us bad.

He didn't cost us, the dropped ball, infrequent attack and bad options on the 5th all night cost us. But I'm with you on this bullsh1te concussion rule. It's ridiculous to make a player who is clearly not affected leave the field. Doesn't happen to the Dogs.

If Brooks was hit on the head I would off been OK with it but he copped a hit in the ribs..no where near a concussion, we could of scored or got a field goal in that set which would or changed the game.

The defenders right knee got him in the head. The defenders left knee looked like it got him in the thigh/hip region. That's how I saw it anyway. Maybe we should take a look through that stupid ref cam.

Yep. Ref clearly said "You can take him out the back" but it was the trainer who forced him off.

We beat ourselves tonight, two stupid penalties led directly to their tries. Really need to tidy this up. We are defending fine, no need to slow the ruck down

He was clearly dazed after getting a knee to the head (unintentional). All players need to be protected, sometimes from themselves, but in any case the rules are clear; he displayed symptoms of concussion so he needed to be taken off the field so a doctor could assess him.

This rule is not BS, it is there for the players' longer term welfare which is far more important than any game.

10/10 for the Physio. Saved us 20k I think.

Perret refused to come off and so did brooksy but 2 interchanges are worth saving 20k IMO.

Thats why physios are the best!

Stupid red cam?
That thing was awesome! I'd like to see that in more games.

And yeah, bs call by trainers trying to cover their own arses because they are liable if any head injuries occur. Is that right?

Lol trainers covering their arse? The fine doesn't come from their pockets. They followed the protocol to perfection. He should be given a medal.

Yep
Refs cant make decisions on the concussion rule, its up to the trainer.
OP gone off 3/4 cocked again

Yeah you are correct WD the knee made contact with the head and hip, so no drama's with what happened after that. I thought the ref cam was ok
