Seven wins in a row

Lets not too ahead of ourselves…those teams we kept to nil (while that is an amazing effort considering the Tigers hadn't ever done it in our club history before now), the teams were absolutely terrible on those days.
I don't think the Roosters will be a walk over (have been a bogey team for us in the past) but to see us knock them off comfortably would be very pleasing.
I think if we can get to the BYE on a 8 game winning streak, the team will be have a very good idea what is required to aim for a top 4 spot (minor premiership is a long way off at this point).

Come on you Tigerrrrrssss!

I agree, and hope that this attitude that we saw in the last 2-3 games does not change. Lets just stick to the game plan and play controlled possession game. If we return to the old attitude eg. 'leave it to Benji', we will strugle against Roosters and Knights.

Go Tigers

We won 9 last year and we won 8 in 2005, so we're on the 3rd longest run. In 2007 did we do 6 or 7? That season started similar to this one, struggled early then strung a whole lot of wins together. Looking back though, we really fell in a heap that season.

I wouldn't call that an impressive win last night, considering it was an understrength Melbourne side. What do you think the margin would of been if they had Smith, Cronk and Slater playing? It would of looked a lot different, imo.

Tiger should of put at least 20 on last night.

Im sick of all this winning.

This is roooooobish.

if you read those posts more closely and tried to understood where "sheens haters" are coming from, you would've never made this stupid comment.

What would the margin been if we had Farah/Ellis? And losing our fullback in the warm up hurt too.

It was good win IMO.

storm wern't missing their defenders last night . they still ran out the best defensive side in the comp aided by wet weather which made us play more conservative .

We were ahead of ourselves seven weeks ago weren't we mate …. Just that we couldn't convince many fans.
How great is it being a Wests Tigers fan ... I wore my Tigers jumper to Woolies this morning and I kid you not five staff and one other bloke came up and started talking footy ... How good is that !

Its funny I dont think we are playing that well and have strung seven on a trot. Last night I think we slipped down a few pegs from the previous weeks but still got the bacon, thats a good sign.

Although I have not seen anything yet to convince me we can beat the Storm, manly or the Bronks at the back end of the season, but that also means we have a lot more improvement in us and of course Ellis is not far away. The next few weeks will reveal plenty, the Chooks and the Knights should be wins but both could get us if our game starts to slip

We beat the storm, lost to Brisbane, in Brisbane, by not much while we were playing horribad and manly…well, it's manly.

[This word has been automatically removed] all the noise, get excited, the worst that happens is the same as every year since '05 and that not all bad.

Yes and kept 2 teams to nil in the process! This in a season we started off very badly - massive turn around!

I can't remember a time when our defence has been so solid for such extended periods. In addition to keeping the 2 teams to nil, we kept Melbourne try-less for 70 minutes, the Eels to nil for 67 minutes (although it went a little pear-shaped after that), and the Titans didn't score a point in the last 50 minutes.

Im super positive about where we are after round 14 and agree we should have had 6 pts more.

I was very worried about the Melb Game through and worry about games where we are expected to win.

I hope thats a wake up call on what will happen against the better teams.

Rosters Newcastle Bye and Dogs over the Next four rounds

Good chance of 8 pts.

The Bulldogs game could be huge if they keep their winning run going and we win our next 2 and all origin players are there on perfect dry night.

Close to a sell out maybe? (at SFS)

Would be a big one….they are going pretty good, would give us a good gauge of where we are
