Richo has won premierships and now he needs training? Who else here has the runs on the board he has?
Benji has no experience balancing a salary cap and Gallant has no experience in senior recruitment. With Shaun also not experienced in the football side of things it’s the blind leading the blind.
Love how all the benefit of the doubt goes to HBG, but a guy with a history of premierships and success everywhere he goes is afforded nothing.

My biggest issue with Shaun at the helm is his lack of rugby league knowledge & skill. Player managers is a beast in itself. Business, commercial and supporters wise he has it. Who he surrounds himself with over the coming months to replace his old role will be key for him. There is alot to like with Shaun as CEO.
We need a GM of football. Benji should be focused on winning football games in the present.

Add to this how hard he pushed on several agreements to occur in his contract / protection clauses (he boasted about it at the time), how he forced the board and decision structures to change as a condition of him joining & he also had zero issues putting clauses into Luai & others contracts (he slipped on that during his interview - by saying which one).
What do you mean here?

Richo himself openly stated that the reason Onitoni Large departed was because he wanted a get out clause if Galvin’s-signed with us.
Richo refused to allow the get out clause than 2 months later the Galvin sage blew up and he also departed.
If Onitoni Large was still at the club he would currently be the front runner to be our NRL fullback if Bula decides to leave.
It was a no brainer that we had no strike power in the centres and Taylan was always going to be a player we needed.
Starford was showing signs of playing very ordinarily and injured long before August.
Richo should have stuck to the finance area and let the experts handle recruitment and retention.
lol man. richo was the best thing to happen to our club in a long time

Not once was it mentioned that he had "fallouts with the owners or the board at every club he has been with". He said he had butted heads and not always got along with boards.. this is standard at an executive level especially when it comes to change management and direction forward.

Why do you feel the need to twist what was said and paint him in a negative light?

Richo had only just moved Shaun into football, so no, it wasnt the right time. The right time would have been at the end of Richos contract to give Shaun enough time in football before transitioning into the CEO role.
Well maybe he shouldn’t have walked away from his contract then?

Exactly.
I used to like Richo, but geez he had a high opinion of himself and not scared to tell everyone about it.
In his 70's and set in his ways but that doesn't mean he wasn't right most of the time, he did get us on the right path, not taking anything away from Benji and his contribution to getting the roster to where it is.

Man I can't wait for our first game, really have high hopes, hope the intensity is there from the boys like the winning performances from this week's games so far.

Yes and watching all these other games so far, I don’t think there is any team we cannot beat if we are switched on.
