People can repeat what you said till the cows come home . But it’s an inconvenient truth that these people refuse to accept . Like the flat earthers and the simple laser test over 10km . (Spoiler … the laser drops over the distance , proving curvature) .
People just want a successful team not run by imbeciles . It’s no more complicated than that … for most . But every day th same old people come here and other social media and twist and contort , reframe and do everything they can to shift the zeitgeist into believing some arbitrary myth from 15 years ago . Why ? So people stop asking the right questions . Who are these people who are “owners” of the wests tigers . And why for the most part are they a bunch of old dudes with zero credentials and a collective IQ of 100.
And because these questions have been asked this past year , that they have started to put people with real skills and aptitude in the board of HBG. Which wouldn’t have happened if not for external pressure applied to the nrl and liquor and gaming , who ultimately have leaned on HBG.
All of the above is truth . There is no debate to be had . I’m hopeful that with more intelligent people on all the boards , that rational , critical thinking can be the first point of call , rather than irrational , outdated nonsense that keeps the club the joke of Australian sports .
