Lets bring back Willie Manu , Bronson Harrison ,Jarrod Saffy and any other old Wests Tigers still capable of walking who aren't in prison

I'm pretty sure Warren McDonnell has nothing to do with WT's recruitment - i.e. signing first graders from other clubs.

I was of the belief that his role relates to younger players in the system. The criticism of him on here, imo, is over the top.

Regarding Shannon McDonnell, well at least he's a lot more experienced than when he was here previously, lets just see what happens before we call for blood.

The Dragons recruit could be a good one.

I still maintain that we are in risk of losing the 2005 GF without that magic Fitzy run just before he scores in the corner to take it back out to 24-12

He did have a few good games in WT's jersey

He was magic when he filled in for Hodgo at fullback in that game v Melbourne at Gosford as well

But they are the only two games that stand out for me , he definitely wasn't a half

He is training for a contract for NSW Cup - he ads experience , depth across FB and Wing

McDonnell SNR doesn't make that call the coaching staff do - so whats the problem

He has speed, evasiveness and experience

Who made the decision's about releasing Korro midway through the year to the Storm ? Navaro to Waratahs ?
Takairangi contract not going through when we had no Coach ? Is McDonnell and Mayer making all the calls ?
I recall reading an interview that Potter had and he stated he had no say in the matter in regards with the midyear transfer of Koro.
Isn't Mcdonnell senior accountable to anything that has happened in the past 10 years at our Club?
He must be a Share Owner of the Club :brick:

McDonnell appears to be our very own Nick Politis, as far as influence goes - an untouchable, shady character with 'underbelly' ties. Although in McDonnell's case, he _is_ the belly!

Thought he went all right in his limited opportunities at Newcastle…..and from people I've talked to he wenr alight in the ESL...

Oh and Yes we do need State Cup Players Wests Tigers are fielding a team in that comp...Makes me wonder thought what it means for the likes of Farrell and Rowe....as I said no need to get into a Tizz

Don't get the hysteria. The guy is terrible but it's not like we're signing him for $500k a year and promising him the starting fullback role. He is TRIALLING for a second tier contract. If he gets it he will more then likely be on the wing/bench for nsw cup…at best.

The hysteria (or major concerns ) would be that this is our biggest signing for 2015

2014 wasn't much better

If we have another bad season in 2015 , who will want to leave and how bad will the recruitment be in 2016 ??

Again none of the signing are NRL players , they are ESL players and NSW Cup or NYC Cup players
