Shannon has become a better player since he left thi tigers - Runs hard, safe under the high ball and super quick - he still isnt the best in the game but he does run hard and have speed the things everyone complains about for McKinnon and Moltzen - Wouldn't be a bad member of the squad

The main thing he lacks is size but then again so does moltzen , Hodgson , Mullaney and even Slater

His pace is a myth. He had a good 7 or 8 metre head start on Prince at Leichhardt a few years ago and got run down over 50 metres.

There's no way I'd want him back at the Tigers. Too small and not quick enough.

Yeah agree Willow - plus he still slips over.

Whilst I am sure his old man would love to sign him I will dead set hand in my membership if we do get him back to the club. He is not good enough for a NRL team that wants to win a competition, if he was Bennett would keep him.

I am convinced we have our fullback, his name is James Tedesco. I know he is young but if you are good enough you are old enough. Tim Brasher, Brad Fitler etc all played first grade from a young age.

My problem is we have too many good young players, not sure how you fit them all in.

The above is a great team but will make mistakes due to youth. Still think we need to sign another of couple of experienced players.

Why do we need size in the fullback position? I really do not get that. How often is that going to be a valuable attribute. If in a 1-on-1 situation, it's always has to be around the legs… and speed, not size, is going to get you more meters bringing the ball back.

Not even mentioning support play or covering the field for kicks.

If only we could Q&A Sheensy. I would love to know why he thinks the way he does. Fullback is the one position you don't need size.

He is half way to hopeless. I don't think the tigers will sign him, we have fullbacks coming through the ranks who are much better than shannon Mcdonnell. One example being Jake Mullaney.

Mullaney is great and would link up well with Benji. Tedesco is up there as well but the Fonz likes size.
