Sharks Trial: LIVE GAME THREAD

Lui is proofing s handful , standing up in the tackle , getting. Great offload , 3 passeslater , Mich Brown scores on the sideline 22-6….with Timmy missing theconversion

Lui, Marshall, Moltzen and Taumata are all 5/8's. Lazarus is the only halfback in the seniors that we have, and Sheens tried to turn him into a fullback.

cuzzos take (& agreed with MacDougall, Lui is a 5/8 as is Benji)
nd Half

The Sharks opened the scoring in the second half when prop Siosaia Vave offloaded in a two man tackle to pass to half-back Albert Kelly to brush off a defender to score from 10 metres out. Winger Luke Covelll converted the try for an 18-6 scoreline after 44 minutes.

Brown extended the Wests Tigers lead when he scored in the corner after the ball travelled through the hands of centre Chris Lawrence and Moltzen after Lui offloaded in a three man tackle from five metres out. Moltzen failed to convert the try from the sideline for a 22-6 lead after 46 minutes.

Lui is clearly sending a message to Coach Tim Sheens that he is the man for the number seven jersey for round one.

The real problem being that they are all GOOD five-eighths. Sheens and co refuse to believe that there is a difference between 6 and 7 but the way Lui and Marshall play in the 6 compared to the 7 leaves nothing to the imagination.

so was prince, and in his first year here people wanted him back at 5/8.

With Sharks on the attack on the Wt 10m line , then Sharks drop the ball again, Tigers get it, 2 tackles later , friggin Tigers drop it

Well Prince was a dominant play-making 6 with a good kicking game and passing game more than a running game. He looked the part to make the conversion to 7\. None of these boys really do look like halfbacks to me.

But all things considered, throw Tuiaki, Tuqiri and Marshall into this performance and watch how drastically the Sharks get trounced.
