Im glad its a forward.

Most likely won't be seeing him play this year with lower grades cancelled

You’re right but the fact he plays lock will put him closer to a debut than our other players. Currently ET and Lawrence are playing there so it’s probably our weakest position. One injury to either of them could open up a spot for Blore on the bench IF he’s impressing enough at training

You forgot all about The Huth :scream:

Interested to know why Panthers released him, which means he was contracted, we didn't outbid Panthers.

He got offered a first grade contract by us and wanted to leave. Hard to not let a young guy go have a greater chance at first grade somewhere else. They did want to keep him though

Oh that's still a thing? How very un-Parramatta of them.

wonder if he walks into the starting side, also wondering what this means for Seyfarth.

What it means for Seyfarth is that he will have to lift his game.

I see Seyfarth as a middle 13 or front rower if he continues to fill out. This bloke sounds like an edge backrower

Wests Tigers and signing players coming off injuries ACL are becoming like a moth attracted to a lightbulb

Welcome to the club Shawn , hope you are a massive signing

True, but at the same time there’s good reason for that ? not really first grade quality in my eyes and this kid probably suits a Madge team more than Eiso, too slow for me

Everyone forgets Eisenhuth,,

Cause he’s a plodder 😂 nah I don’t mind him but if this kid runs hard and has more of an impact I would choose him. Eiso offers very little in attack unless our pack is already dominating

Gould has talked up Blore for a long time. Never seen him play, but comes with the raps from a lot of "in the know" people.

From the sounds of it we’ve picked up the two best young forwards in NSW and possibly the country. Stefano and Blore are gonna be our future hopefully. We’ve got a really good amount of young guys ready for the future

Haha the write up of every young player we sign make them out like they are going to be a huge star, but I'm pleased with the signing.

To be fair, all the young players we’ve signed this year are all junior origin reps etc. Stefano clearly the highest rated prospect we’ve signed but this kid is probably #2, people who know footy rate him extremely highly.

The others seems good but we will have to see how we will go in first grade not every young rep turns Out to be a star

This bloke has the temperament to do so. Give him an offseason and watch him go with the likes of Stefano next year. I'm very impressed with how Madge is building our squad. We're going to have quite the forward pack in a season or two.

In theory it sounds good but in sad reality if one of them takes the game by storm in the next 1 or 2 seasons they will miraculously end up at the Roosters or a club who prefers to offer "incentives" outside their salary.
Contracts etc these days are such a laughable disgrace that signings are usually met with trepidation that once the player shows promise they are gone just as quick. That is probably the biggest gripe with our game nowadays IMO.

Gotta try not to think like that. With the Centre Of Excellence coming and some great up and coming talent we've got a real opportunity in the next 2-3 years.

It's ingrained lately unfortunately. Would be awesome to build a great pack and watch it develop over 4-5 years together.
How much emphasis do you think players put on COE's etc?
If the players are keen, motivated and commited then they can do good things with limited facilities, Manly have been a good example of that these last 2 or so years.

Coming into state of the art facilities vs antiquated facilities...I have no doubt it makes a difference. I think the bigger factor is the influence Madge is having though, a lot of these top juniors have been sold by his vision and plans after speaking with him and that's the type of culture players buy into, and stick together by.

I agree 100% with what you say except for one thing. Should we not sign anyone because they will soon be gone? I hate the system, but we need to become one of the "go to clubs" then that will sort out the problems you speak of.

I watched him play in a NSW Cup game and it was apparent he was above that level. He is very busy in defence but it his running with the ball that is impressive. With the Panthers depth in the position they did the right thing by him which should be applauded.
